The other day I was walking to the bus stop, because I'm super cool, and thought to my, "What a curious odor." I thought maybe Amy Winehouse was nearby, until I read this article. Apparently a bunch of farmers across the channel are spreading manure, and the winds are bringing it in to London. The B.O. from France surely can't be helping the cause.
One quick update. Today I am checking into my third hotel in as many weeks. It's a little closer to the aforementioned bus stop, and it's in the Starwood family of hotels, and I'm getting double points. The hope is that these points will get put to use once Lori arrives and we do some European travel this summer.
That said, the search for a flat is ongoing. I've loooked at about 6 or 7 so far, and I've one candidate in the Baron's Court area I might put an offer on:

The price is right and it has what I'm looking for, but the neighborhood has very little to offer. We'd be about 10-15 minutes (walking) from the shops, cafes, etc. of Earl's Court. I've also got one more place near Baker Street to check out today. Hopefully by this time next week I'll have found something.
